There are many ways in which you may assist JALA other than through an immediate cash donation. You may wish to leave a legacy of justice and assist JALA through a bequest in your will. Once you have provided for the people you love, we hope you will consider a bequest to JALA. Bequests of any size can help ensure that JALA will continue to provide high quality legal representation to low-income, elderly and disabled persons who could not otherwise afford civil legal services. In addition, by involving your family in the decision you have the two-fold joy of showing your children and grandchildren what it means to give back to the community, while also passing on the legacy of philanthropy.
Families and individuals may also wish to begin a planned gift as a celebration of the birth of a child or grandchild, to celebrate a wedding or retirement, or as a way to mark any other joyous occasion.
