Immigration clients are seen at the Jacksonville Office.

JALA has a special project, The Refugee Immigration Project, which is only able to help certain types of immigrants who have immigration cases – refugees, people granted asylum (asylees), Haitian/Cuban entrants/parolees, persons who have their green cards but originally were refugees/asylees/C-H entrants/parolees, Amerasians, and persons certified as victims of human trafficking.  Immigrants who have one of those statuses may come to the project’s offices on the 2nd floor of JALA between 8:30-5:00, Monday-Friday, or may call 356-8371, ext. 334.

ALL OTHER IMMIGRANTS SEEKING IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE MAY APPLY FOR HELP BY CALLING (904) 356-8371 OR (866) 356-8371 TOLL-FREE.

However, immigration services are extremely limited (primarily referrals to pro bono attorneys), and JALA is NOT able to assist persons with Immigration Court/removal-deportation cases since those hearings are held in Orlando.

Please call (904) 356-8371.
